Lexus Link  is an onboard 24-hour safety and information service. A Lexus Link Advisor is accessible at the touch of a button to dispatch emergency personnel, roadside assistance or to provide support if your vehicle is lost or stolen. Plus, if an airbag deploys in your Lexus, your vehicle automatically sends an emergency alert to the Call Center. You can also upgrade the service to have your Advisor provide driving directions or even concierge services.
 An active Lexus Link® subscription (including a signed Lexus Link Service Subscription Agreement) is required in order to receive Lexus Link services. Lexus Link services require vehicle electrical system and wireless service to be available and operating for features to function properly. Lexus Link uses existing emergency service providers as well as wireless and satellite technologies. A one-year subscription to the Safety Plan is included with the purchase of a new vehicle. Other plans are available at an additional cost.
Owners of vehicles equipped with Lexus Link , a factory-installed option, can look forward to assistance at the touch of a button. This latest Lexus Link system utilizes a dedicated cellular phone, Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology and 24-hour live support to provide you with the fastest and most accurate service.
Choose From Two Plan Levels
While safety and security are the main purpose of the Lexus Link system, the technology has many other benefits. Owners can enhance their service with things like Driving Directions, Information Assistance or Personal Calling.
Airbag Deployment Notification
If an airbag deploys or your vehicle experiences a severe impact, Lexus Link is immediately activated. An emergency call is placed to the Lexus Link Call Center, enabling your Lexus Link Advisor to:
If your vehicle is ever stolen, your Lexus Link Advisor will walk you through the process of reporting the theft to the police. They can even activate the GPS system to assist law enforcement in locating your vehicle. All you need to do is contact the Lexus Link Call Center and provide your PIN code.
Emergency Services Notification 
Press the Lexus Link Emergency button and your Lexus Link Advisor will quickly respond. After assessing the situation, your Advisor can contact the appropriate emergency personnel, inform them of your emergency and provide your location. Your advisor can even notify a friend or family member for additional support.
Roadside Assistance 
If your vehicle ever runs out of gas or has a flat tire, press your Lexus Link Services button. A Lexus Link Advisor can contact a roadside assistance provider for you and even provide them with your location .
If you find yourself locked out of your Lexus or are concerned that you may have left your vehicle unlocked, you can call Lexus Link, toll-free, and ask an Advisor to use remote functions to unlock or lock your vehicle.
Having trouble remembering where you parked your vehicle? Call the toll-free Lexus Link number and provide your PIN to have a Lexus Link Advisor send a signal to your Lexus. The lights of your vehicle will flash and the horn will sound, making it easier for you to locate your Lexus.
If your vehicle is involved in a collision, push the Services button and your Lexus Link Advisor will walk you through a checklist developed in conjunction with leading insurance companies, helping to reduce the chance of future insurance-claim complications.
You can record up to two minutes of conversation while speaking with your Advisor and play it back as often as needed.
All Safety Plan Features-and More
In addition to all the comforts the Safety Plan provides, the Directions Plan offers quick access to Driving Directions, Convenience Services and Ride Assist (for alternative transportation). Upgrading to the Directions Plan is easy and requires only a minimal increase in your subscription fee.
Driving Directions 
Whether you're lost or just need an alternate route, help is never far away. Your Lexus Link Advisor will pinpoint your location using GPS technology, then provide you with clear, step-by-step directions to your destination. This feature is also ideal for those who often drive in unknown areas or remote locations. For added convenience, you can replay the instructions as often as needed via the Advisor Playback feature.
Information and Convenience Services 
Whether you're looking for a local restaurant, require accommodations for the night or just want to know the location of the nearest ATM or gas station, your Lexus Link Advisor can help. They have access to more than 7 million service listings in over 250 categories, and can even download a phone number to your Lexus Link system for use with Personal Calling.
Ride Assist 
If for any reason you're unable to drive, your Lexus Link Advisor can arrange for alternative transportation-via taxi or, if you wish, by contacting a friend or relative. And if your Lexus is in need of repair, roadside assistance can be contacted as well. (Subscriber assumes responsibility for transportation fees.)
With Personal Calling, you can look forward to hands-free, voice-activated calls-even if you've lost your cell phone or its battery has lost its charge. Just select the 12-month prepaid package that best suits your needs, then enjoy all the conveniences that Personal Calling provides. Since Personal Calling is always with you, you can make calls by simply speaking the number, or program the system to automatically connect you when you say a name or location. Your Advisor can also download numbers directly to your vehicle so the system can recall them later.
The combination of Lexus Link's voice-recognition capabilities and your Personal Calling minutes gives you quick access to personally relevant information. Practical and convenient, Advanced Services allows you to make the most of your time on the road, whether you need to determine the best route to take, make a critical investment decision or get the latest weather report.

Receive up-to-date reports on construction, major delays and accidents within a five-mile radius of your location. You can personalize your report on the Internet by expanding the range or by setting a preferred route (traffic available in most markets).

Hear a three-day weather report for your vehicle's current location.
"Get My Stocks"
Listen to a financial report that includes a customized selection of up to 10 stocks you configure via the Internet.

First Generation Lexus Link
Information for subscribers with first-generation Lexus Link system hardware (model years 2001 - 2004).
Lexus Link is a factory-installed option that is available on limited Lexus vehicles. Check with your local Lexus dealer to get a complete list of Lexus vehicles on which this option is available.
This system is only operational in GPS (Global Positioning System) and cellular coverage areas. Services may not be available in an area where the GPS and/or cellular phone signals cannot be received. Operating the Lexus Link® System during the use of Bluetooth® phone call will terminate the Bluetooth® phone call.
You'll need your PIN to access some of the Lexus Link® services. If, for example, you're locked out of your vehicle or it has been stolen, an Advisor will ask for your PIN in order to provide assistance. Lexus Link is powered by your vehicle's battery. In order to preserve the battery for starting the vehicle, Lexus Link cannot perform door unlocks, alerts or vehicle theft location after the vehicle has been off continuously for 48 hours.
Ability to locate stolen vehicles and lock/unlock doors and activate horn/lights will vary with conditions. Lexus Link is unable to remotely lock doors when the vehicle's key is in the ignition and is unable to remotely unlock doors when the vehicle's ignition is in the "ON" position.

Any unused time from the first year of service included in the price of a Lexus Link-equipped vehicle is not transferable.
